This goling masterpiece was designed by the master of the sport, Jack Nicklaus. The winningest golfer in history, Nicklaus planned every bend and tree, every fairway contour and green undulation. The surrounding vegetation is host to more than 100 species of native birds.
Twelve beautiful lakes challenge golfers as they navigate their way through each hole. In those lakes swim a diversity of fish. They too, are protected. No fishing allowed.
Every drop of water is recaptured and recycled back to the lakes. Organic fertilizers are used on the golf courses and plants. Ever mindful of our responsibility to nature, Springfield sought out a relationship with the International Audubon Society to ensure the well-being of the local bird population. Springfield has been a proud certified member of ACSP (Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program) since 1995
In addition, Springfield's golf operation staff and caddies continually undergo development and training programs, to ensure that courteous and professional services will continue to be a trademark of our Club.
