Thailand changes athletes' Olympic uniforms after criticism

The new uniforms, designed by Grand Sports and four other teams, will feature the Ban Chiang pattern for the ceremony in Paris next Friday, NOCT vice president Thana Chaiprasit announced on the committee's Facebook page on Friday.

Springfield Caddie Training

At Springfield, becoming a caddie is a journey of learning under the guidance of Khun Jaras, our dedicated caddie master. His extensive experience ensures that every new caddie is prepared to provide exceptional service on the course.

Training starts with essential lessons around the practice greens, focusing on the basics. After mastering these skills, new caddies move on to daily on-course training for a month, where they apply their knowledge in real scenarios. Senior caddies join Khun Jaras in mentoring the new recruits, occasionally with club members and Springfield Ambassador Professionals adding their insights.

After a month of intensive training, new caddies begin working, paired with experienced counterparts in groups of 3-4 balls. We believe that the most effective learning happens on the job.

We ask for your patience as these new caddies acclimate. If a caddie does not meet your expectations, please inform Michael so we can address any concerns promptly.

Springfield Ambassadors Update

John Catlin's Stellar Season

Ambassador Pro John Catlin continues to impress with an outstanding year on the golf course. After securing two victories earlier in the season at the International Series Macau and Saudi Open, John narrowly missed out on another win, losing in a playoff at the Asian Tour International Series in Morocco. Playing as a reserve player on the LIV tour, substituting for Charles Howell III on Bryson DeChambeau’s Crushers team, he performed admirably in Houston, Nashville, and Andalucia, finishing 24th, 7th, and 23rd, respectively. He also had a remarkable performance at The 152nd Open at Royal Troon last month, finishing T16th with scores of 76-70-69-71, totaling +2.

John's dedication and relentless work ethic are evident as he continues to play world-class golf. Currently the Asian Tour Order of Merit leader and ranked 136th in the world, we anticipate more exciting stories and successes from him in the future.

Junior Punpun Shines at Lakeview

Our very own Junior "Punpun" has showcased his talent by winning the Junior Golf Series at Lakeview. With consistent rounds of 72, 76, and 73, he finished the tournament at +5. Punpun's next challenge will be the TGA event at Uniland Golf Club. Additionally, he will soon begin his Thai national team qualification process. We wish him the best in his future endeavors and are excited to see what he will achieve next.
